Bursary Programme

In addition to the student programme, PRDW also offers a bursary programme to help support promising students fund their studies.

PRDW's bursary programme aims to provide funding for academically deserving students who do not have the financial means to study full time towards a degree at a public university. Furthermore, through the programme, we hope to assist students in realising their potential for a future in engineering.

If you are interested in applying, please ensure you meet the following minimum requirements:

  • South African citizen or permanent resident

  • Full-time student studying towards a degree in one of the following fields: BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering

  • Studying at a recognised and accredited university in South Africa

  • Must have successfully completed at least second year or higher of studies (bursaries will not be awarded to students entering their first year of study)

  • Achieved and maintained a minimum overall average of 65%

More details on the programme can be found in the application form, which can be downloaded here.
